I created a humanoid character by drawing inspiration from various comics and video games. This approach allowed me to develop a more intricate and compelling character, one that can convey a rich narrative simply through its visual design. The core story of this character revolves around its role as the protector of Earth. Armed with a shield and spear, it stands as humanity's last line of defense against a colossal asteroid hurtling toward Earth. Through its detailed design and backstory, the character not only tells a story but also evokes a deep emotional connection, making it a memorable and iconic figure.


Inspiration & Early Concepts

Many of the programs I used, such as Maya and Substance, helped develop the concept I had for this character. Additionally, inspiration from various video games and comic book characters aided in refining my vision. Maya was instrumental in creating complex 3D models for the asteroids and, most importantly, in detailing the character, such as facial expressions and an intricate bone rig that made animation easier. Substance was used to add detailed textures, bringing the character to life
